This October: The World’s First 3D Printing Show In London

This October, the world’s first trade and consumer show dedicated to 3D printing technology is launching. The 3D Printshow, which opens on the 19th Oct and runs until the 21st, will feature a series of live demonstrations, workshops and seminars, and will offer consumers a chance to get to grips with the technology for the first time.
The show will be divided into zones that will show different facets of the 3D printing world, from architecture to medical tools, from music to toys. Highlights include a 3D art gallery, a full-body scanner that can create a miniature version of your body, and a design bar that will let visitors get on-hand expert advice about how to personalize products they already own.
On Saturday night, a live catwalk show will feature some of the most amazing new 3D fashion, from clothes to shoes, from jewellery to hats. 3D printing has allowed designers to create shapes and textures that they could previously only imagine, so this promises to be unlike any fashion show you’ve seen before.
The show will premier the world’s first 3D printed band. This will feature music written specifically for the 3D Printshow – in many cases compositions that have been created as music themes and motifs to accompany specific pieces, designers and events within the show. The show will also feature exclusive contributions from key exhibitors, showcasing selected technologies and products among the most impressive.
Running at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, East London from 19th-21st October, it’s set to be a fascinating event.
