Total Solar Eclipse 08. 04. 2005 - South Pacific (MV Discovery) - Total Eclipse End Sequence



Each of the images in the sequence is a composition of 22 digital images and a single image taken on a classical film. Using of a classical film is an absolute necessity in order to manage the extreme contrast of Baily's beads and the diamond ring after the third contact. It is not possible to obtain images of this quality using digital camera only. The diffuse light is caused by a cirrus cloud.
